hello, i'm new here.. guess i should introduce myself.
my name's cassandra, my main time consumer is jewelry making, but around spring time each year i get to thinking of the faires that are coming up. last year my boyfriend and i made some armor. well.. i helped. he made a kidney belt, a pauldron, and a bracer. i made him a shirt out of pigskin and helped him fit things. then i covered my old corset with leather and riveted leather circles to it (god, it is such a useless piece of "armor" right now)
this year he is making himself a whole new set of armor, so i am claiming his pauldron, and maybe the bracer. we're making a leather bustier for me, and i'm going to try my hand at making some boots.

what i need suggestions on is this:
a few months ago i was at a flea market and i happened across a possum skin. it was not split up the belly like most skins. it looked like somebody hacked off the paws, cut open the poor thing's bum, and yanked everything out.
i HAD to have it.
my cats hate/love it. i have no idea what to do with it. it was a big possum, too. the thing measures 26 inches from bum to nose (yes, the thing still has it's face)
if my outfit included a bow, i'd make the possum into a quiver.. but it doesnt. plus i've got terrible aim.
the thing fits over my entire arm... with the tail resting on my shoulder and the mouth around my wrist-the nose touching the base of my middle finger.
now, i could make it into some horribly bizzare sleeve, but i figured i'd see if anybody else had an idea that doesnt involve me shoving my arm into a possum's butt.
